Vote for Halloween Movie
We'd like to show something on the side of the house this Halloween as part of the house decorations... something that the trick-or-treaters and/or their chaperones can watch for a few minutes as they comb the streets in search of treats.
Below are the trailers for movies to be voted on for Halloween. The poll closes at 10:00 PM October 29 so please vote by then. You can see the voting box to the right of these posts, below the welcome message.

The first movie in the poll is The Wizard of Oz (1939). It runs for 101 minutes and is rated G.
In this charming film based on the popular L.Frank Baum stories, Dorothy and her dog Toto are caught in a tornado's path and somehow end up in the land of Oz. Here she meets some memorable friends and foes in her journey to meet the Wizard of Oz who everyone says can help her return home and possibly grant her new friends their goals of a brain, heart and courage.

The second movie in the poll is Young Frankenstein (1974). This movie runs for 106 minutes and is rated PG.
In this hilarious Mell Brooks spoof, Dr. Frankenstein's grandson - after years of living down the family reputation - inherits granddad's castle and repeats the experiments.

The third movie in the poll is Mad Monster Party? (1967). This movie runs for 94 minutes and is unrated in the US.
When Dr Frankenstein decides to retire from the monster-making business, he calls an international roster of monsters to a creepy convention to elect his successor. Everyone is there including Dracula, The Werewolf, The Creature, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde and many more. But Frankenstein's title is not all that is at stake. The famous doctor has also discovered the secret of total destruction that must not fall into the wrong hands!

The fourth and final movie in the poll is The Monster Squad (1987). This movie runs for 82 minutes and is rated PG-13.
Dracula is alive. In fact, he plans to rule the world and that is why he seeks the help of other legendary monsters. However, a bunch of kids regarded by their peers as losers uncover the devious plan and prepare for a counter strike.
